SIBU: Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) today expressed its dissatisfaction with the composition of the Pemandu Committee to review and streamline the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) which it said was unreasonable.
Its president Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing said the composition of the committee should be equal, for instance, five members each from ‘Malaya’, Sarawak and Sabah which form Malaysia.
In his speech to PRS representatives from throughout the country at the party’s Extra-Ordinary Delegates Conference, Masing said the committee should not be chaired by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and someone else should take his place.
