Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) today treated more than 100 underprivileged children to a fun day at educational theme park Kidzania Kuala Lumpur.
The programme was held as part of MAHB’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
MAHB acting group executive officer Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin said the organisation aims to to give back to society by igniting the imagination and creativity in the young.
“This themed learning centre KidZania Kuala Lumpur has developed a truly novel concept in encouraging learning and teaching important life skills,” he said.
Meanwhile, general manager of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, said the CSR programme was in line with the edutainment centre’s sixth year anniversary theme “Spreading Kindness” that runs throughout the year.
“As the ultimate indoor family centre, the tagline ‘Give Them Wings and Let Them Fly’ which is a good testament in demonstrating that sometimes, all that is needed is a spark to ignite dreams, and we believe this event will encourage the children to dream big” Shahrul said.
