MALACCA: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron today denied that he is being investigated by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).
Idris said a meeting with MACC officers yesterday was to facilitate the graft buster’s probe into his officers.
“The officers came (to see me) to complete their investigations into several cases which were raised one and a half months ago,” he said.
“As a Chief Minister who has knowledge and roles in many matters, I have given my assistance and information needed by MACC to help complete the ongoing investigations,” Idris said.
He was speaking after delivering his keynote address to department heads at Mudzaffar Hotel, Ayer Keroh, here, today.
Idris, however, said the information relayed to the commission was confidential in nature.
He said no documents were seized from his office by the officers.
